Raised on a ranch, Carly’s creative ambitions started early as she spent her younger days writing and drawing on the open plains of Montana. Now, with a degree in Advertising Photography from RIT and over fifteen years of experience in the media industry, she is a respected LA-based Writer and Creative Director.
Carly’s creative eye, unique viewpoint, and knack for conceptualizing innovative ideas has led her to collaborate with top brands. Her smart, authentic work has won several prestigious awards such as the ASME award for the Trump Survival Guide.
By way of journalism, Carly discovered her profound passion for writing character-driven narratives that delve into the heart of human experiences. Elevating genres, Carly’s craft for humancentric stories shine through. Her writing has received recognition as a Stage32 Fellowship Finalist, Script Pipeline Quarterfinalist, Catalina Film Festival Finalist, and the recipient of Best Twist Feature Screenplay award at the Austin Spotlight Film Festival. Presently, Carly’s horror script, Hollows, is in pre-production with Mind Hive Films.
