A Montana native, Carly's talents as a designer and photographer have always pushed the envelope of what is fresh and cutting edge while maintaining an organic sophistication. Living in Los Angeles for 10 years, she has flourished as an Art Director in the magazine industry working for high-end publications such as Orange Coast Magazine, Swoop Magazine, Western Interiors & Design and freelancing for Dwell Magazine, Los Angeles Times and more.
It was her passion for the visual arts that led her to pursue a degree in Advertising Photography from the acclaimed academy of Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in upstate New York. Carly’s skilled eye as a photographer continues to re-enforce her design work and has led her to be the in-house photographer for each publication she has worked with. Her photographs can be see splashed across the pages of magazines in the form of covers, fashion, portraits, food and product. She has a list of esteemed freelance clients which continues to grow as she pursues new projects in all aspects of creative direction from branding, web, advertising, photography and everything in between.
